Midway up the Door Peninsula in the Village of Sister Bay on a residential street is our Inn, a turn of the century building listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The "Inn on Maple" sits below the bluffs of Green Bay and is located between Peninsula State Park and Newport State Park, as well as being convenient to other county parks, the village beach, restaurants, shops and marina. A bluffside trail is within walking distance of the inn.
Pastimes in Door County might involve boating, biking, fishing, golfing, hiking, horseback riding, and swimming in summer. Cross-country skiing, sledding, skating, and snowmobiling are popular in the winter. The Ridges Sanctuary, the Mink River Estuary, the American Folklore Theater, the Peninsula Music Festival, the art galleries and outdoor concerts are available nearby.
